What Is The Difference in Yoga Types?

There are many types of yoga practice, ranging from relaxing, meditative styles to physically challenging ones. At Santulita, we focus on relaxing, medative forms to help bring balance to both mind and body.

What Should I Bring?

All you need for class is comfortable clothing, a small towel, a water bottle and your yoga mat. If you don't have a mat, click here for some of my favourites!

Is Yoga a Cardio Workout?

While yoga can be a cardio workout in some instances, like hot yoga. Primarily it is a strength and stretching workout that combines breathing, meditation and relaxation.

What Should I Wear?

You don't need any special clothing to your yoga class,; comfortable and stretchy clothing that allows for free movement is best.
